Part of the mission of our club is to provide students with hands-on experiences, and we are able to do that by partnering with a variety of local organizations that are willing to offer a learning opportunity for our members! This is also a way that we can give back to our community and form connections with local professionals!

September:

1. ​Pet Smart Dog Adoption Event

      - Date & Time: Sunday, September 9th, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

      - Location: PetSmart (2495 Enterprise Dr, Opelika, AL 36801)

      - Details: Volunteers will assist with dog handling. We need 8 volunteers, and we will meet CARE directly at the PetSmart location.

2.  Chewacla​ Group Dog Walk

      - Date & Time: Saturday, September 26th at 8:00 AM

      - Location: Chewacla State Park (meet at CARE Humane Society at 8:00 AM to pick up the dogs before driving to the park)

      - Details: Entry to Chewacla is free for participants. Volunteers will need a car to transport the dogs from CARE to the park.
