Public Speaking and Philosophy

Philosophy doesn't have to happen in a classroom or conference. It's not an activity reserved for those in the Academy. It can have a place in public events, woven into topics present in pop-culture and media. By making philosophy approachable to just about anyone we, as philosophers, can have a significant impact on the social conversation and get a wide range of people to rethink the way they have been engaging in their projects and lives.
