I am an Ecologist & Evolutionary Biologist.
As an educator, I prioritize the integration of discussion and hands-on, inquiry-based experiences to facilitate autonomous and collaborative critical thinking.

I am a junior at AU, majoring in Neuroscience with a concentration in pre-med, and minoring in philosophy, and I love the fine arts. I am quite involved in a number of organizations and clubs on campus, such as the International Medical fraternity Phi Delta Epsilon, AU Diplomats, CAS LEAD, NSCS, University Choir, and a couple others.
A couple fun facts about me is that I am Egyptian, I have travelled all over the world as a Military Child (my favorite places are Okinawa, Bali, Shanghai, and Dubai!), I can speak about 4 languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese), and I am currently living in Virginia Beach but I consider Okinawa, Japan my hometown.
