If you’re a tween/teen performer who wants stage time. Prepare a reading of your favorite picture book. Be sure to show off your character work with voices, emotions, physicality, music…
*Your selection should be practiced independently before arriving, as if you were preparing a monologue for an audition.
We’ll meet on Wednesday, August 27th, from 6-8 pm at the Wheat Ridge Grange, 3850 High Ct, to determine a lineup, play some games, and connect over snacks.
Actors will perform at one or both story hours, Saturday the 30th, 10 am, and Sunday the 31st, 1 pm, depending on availability and number of participants.
The story hours are designed to give young actors an audience to perform for as they hone their craft and inspire new readers.
This free event is sponsored by the Atomic Theatre Company, the Wheat Ridge Grange, and the Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts.
