There are differences between emote style and images actually intended to be exclusively emotes.
Emote style has line width of 1.5 and is zoomed a little further out with more detailed shading.
Images made to be emotes have line thickness of 3.0, are focused on a exaggerated expression, and are zoomed in on the face for maximum clarity. (see image)
