SOP: Troubleshooting Motor Issue (Lights Functional)
Purpose: Assist customers with motor-only issues in range hoods where lights are functional.
Steps:
Confirm Issue: Verify that only the motor is not functioning (lights work).
Check Capacitor Connection: Use macro: Range Hood: Only motor issue (lights work)
Guide the customer to locate the capacitor and check the connection.
If possible, ask the customer to use a voltage reader to confirm if there is power reaching the capacitor.
If No Power Detected:
Inform the customer that the capacitor may need replacing.
Recommend they purchase a new capacitor with the specifications listed on the component:
