ATH has existed for fifteen years.
Our mission is simple: to use live performance as a tool for human growth, shared emotion and meaningful social connection.
For fifteen years, we have used theatre, music, dance and performance to connect people, develop creativity and strengthen communities.
Working at the intersection of art, education and society, ATH has been building bridges across languages and nationalities, connecting artistic practices and communities that rarely meet.
In a world that pushes us toward individual lives with screens, platforms and isolated consumption, we defend the opposite.
We defend meeting, presence, shared emotion and community.
What we do:
For individuals and families:
Performances and festivals for all ages;
Creative workshops in improvisation, drama, music and dance.
Our work builds confidence, expression and imagination, far beyond entertainment.
For schools and educational partners:
Weekly classes and intensive programmes;
Touring performances with workshops and discussions.
We strengthen engagement, collective culture and emotional intelligence through the arts.
For companies and organisations:
Team development and leadership programmes;
Communication and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
Using theatre-based methods rooted in human-rights values, our work aligns with CSR and ESG objectives.
ATH has introduced a new cultural model.
In Hanoi and more broadly across Vietnam, very few venues, even among national theatres, maintain a structured annual programme dedicated to independent performing arts.
At ATH Theatre today:
shows are programmed for the entire year;
productions are supported over time;
performances are presented multiple times rather than as one-off events.
This model is rare in the country:
allowing artists to move beyond single performances;
making productions economically viable;
building long-term relationships between audiences and works;
creating a true artistic ecosystem.
And we will carry this model into the new theatre.
We believe live art is not a luxury.
It is a social necessity.
