Things BETA Participates In

We volunteer at:

• Elementary Carnivals

• Fall and Spring Festivals

• Cultural Festivals (Heritage, Pioneer Day at Jesse Jones)

• Fundraisers for other organizations (Stuff Out Cancer and Hope for the Holidays)

• Volunteering at Churches and Shelters

• Color Runs, Zombie/Eagle Runs

• Competitions (TMSCA Competition for Math and Science League and Dance Competitions)

• Letter/card Campaigns for Holidays, teacher appreciation and awareness weeks

**2020-2021 School year, we plan to participate in an array of service events that are also not listed above -courtesy of Member's request from the Beta Survey**

For the 2020-21 year we plan to have more social events such as:

• Celebrate top point earners and possibly those who attended most/all meetings -- possibly reward top service point earner each month

  • • • • Beta Member of the Month

• Social at the beginning/end of the year -- to get to know everyone and to celebrate everyone’s hard work and dedication

• Induction ceremony to welcome new members

• Going to Leadership Conventions and having field trips

• Fundraisers for our club so that we can go on field trips and have more social events -- fundraiser idea: spirit nights

• Club Spirit Night

• Having an end of the year formal dinner or banquet to celebrate the members hard work

• Sending off the seniors -- party

• Picnic and Movie Nights

• Club parties

• Bonding games after meetings
