At the Margins

At the Margins is an open-access student-run journal at York University for graduate students who are Indigenous, Black, Brown, and/or Asian. It is a space to provide students with an opportunity to engage with the publishing process, supporting them with their academic and scholarly pursuits. We recognize that such a process can be daunting and overwhelming, and as such we place an emphasis on building relations of affirmation and care through our communication, feedback, and support. We also invite works in various forms such as artistic, creative, and written work, and we currently accept submissions from graduate students enrolled in a program at York University.
