I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student at the C.N. Yang Institute for Theoretical Physics, Stony Brook University, working under the supervision of Prof. Tzu-Chieh Wei. Prior to this, I completed an M.Sc. in Physics at the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS), Bangalore. I hold a B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics and Mathematics from the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), Chennai. My school education was at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Palakkad, India.
My research interests lie at the intersection of theoretical and mathematical physics. Currently, I am focused on questions related to generalized symmetries and topological phases of matter.
[January 2026] gave a poster presentation on Higher-order topological phases protected by non-invertible and subsystem symmetries during a program held at ICTS-TIFR , Bangalore, India.

[June 2025] I gave a poster presentation on Higher-order topological phases protected by non-invertible and subsystem symmetries during a program held at ICTP-SAIFR , Sao-Paulo, Brazil.

[March 17 2025] I gave a talk on Kramers-Wannier duality and Kennedy-Tasaki transformation in subsystem symmetric lattice models during the APS global physics summit held at Anaheim, California.
[December 2024] I gave a poster presentaion on CSS codes and dualities via cluster state measurements during the workshop held at SCGP, Stony Brook.
[July 18 2024] I gave a poster presentation on Kennedy-Tasaki transformation and noninvertible symmetry in lattice models beyond one dimension during the PiTP summer school held at IAS, Princeton.
