The more he studied the subject the more he became convinced that occult subjects are on a solid footing  and are  quite complicated as they are very wide spectrum encompassing the range perceived by the five senses and beyond that. At most of the places the word science is used to qualify these subjects which gives the impression that they can be studied in the same way as one studies the science subjects. In science there is definiteness. Every phenoenon is a function of many variables and by controlling these variables that phenomenon may be controlled. And when it comes to predicting the results in a scientific system the accuracy will depand upon the number of variables taken in the formula derived for prediction. More the number of variables the better will be the result which one can verify and correct the formula.This is the level of definiteness in scientific experiment.

The formula of water is H2O and it will remain the same in the entire world irrespective of time. Water can be synthesized in the lab by following the given procedure by anyone and its formula shall remain the same. Any scientific study has two basic things- a sound theory and then its verification beyond doubt. For verification a sample is selected and the theory is applied to the entire sample uniformly and both the results positive and negative are analyzed to come to a conclusion. In astrology this type of study has not been done and hence it does not qualify to be called a science. In fact calling astrology as a science is degrading it. It is a "Para Vidya'' (Transcendental Knowledge. Astrology is not only about predicting day to day events in life but it goes much beyond that and helps to align oneself with the cosmic plan with  a silver thread - 'Born to Win'. It is about understanding the purpose of pleasure and pain in steering our life. Our physical body is attracted to things which give pleasure and avoids pain giving elements and this pleasure/pain is the steering mechanism to guide oneself. If one is confined to pleasure & pain domain he does not understand the plan chalked out for him by the Supreme Being depending upon his karma. Astrology is the only branch of knowledge on this earth which unravels 'Born to win' concept of evolution.
