Our first 'Star Gazing' event was held on Saturday, 23rd April, at 8 PM. We arranged a Celestron AstroMaster EQ 130 telescope for the participants using which we viewed the Polaris star with clarity
Our first 'Star Gazing' event was held on Saturday, 23rd April, at 8 PM. We arranged a Celestron AstroMaster EQ 130 telescope for the participants using which we viewed the Polaris star with clarity
The event was led by the core team, with faculty coordinator Ms. Pankaja Kopulkar. We circulated Google forms for the registration. The event was attended by around 106 students from all branches. We also kept an eye out for shooting stars during the annual Lyrid meteor shower which was active until April 29.

In order to honour Moon's Day Astro club organized blog writing and digital poster making contest online. The winners were featured on the clubs instagram handle.
