About Us :
Astro Club is a pioneer in its field at JSPM RSCOE College. The idea for this institution was conceived as a community of space enthusiasts who could all gather under one roof and enjoy gazing up at the sky because there was never a club for astronomy and space enthusiasts. The goal of Astro Club RSCOE is to build a community where space enthusiasts may share their expertise and grow it. We want to provide a friendly yet professional environment where people may come together to share their passion for space and much more. Our members will also receive experience in management, public speaking, and other soft skills that will aid in the overall development of our beneficiaries. Without the guidance of our professors and seniors who guided us through all of our problems, we would not now be a team of more than 40 members. Our club's foundation is our principal, Dr. R. K. Jain, our department HOD, Dr. Seema Kedar, our faculty coordinator, Prof. Sachin Kolekar, and first-year HOD and our mentor, Dr. S. Yadav. Thus, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to them.

Departments at AstroClub :
The members will be responsible for field of endeavor involved with assembling, managing and presenting some type of collection
The members will be responsible for the branding of the club, expert sessions and all the other activities that will be carried out under AstroClub RSCOE
Public Relations Department supervises and assesses public attitudes, and maintaining mutual relations and understanding between an organization and its public.
Content development is the process of researching, writing, gathering, organizing, and editing information for publication.
The Budget Holder decides how much of the organization's budget is allocated to each department or division.
The team will help coordinate with researchers those who will participate in a month long process. Team members of Research department will have to work together to follow a detailed plan for the study.
The way we work :
After the hiring process, we formed a team of 28 people, and the team was then split up into the club's 8 departments. We held committee meetings to go over the work with the people that were hired. The 10 members of the club's core team were there to oversee the departments. A core team member served as the head of each department. We introduced our club, gave details on the events, explained how they worked and offered help in any manner we could throughout the meetings. The sky-gazing session on April 23rd, during which we observed the Polaris, was one of the club's best to date. The event had to be rescheduled from April 22 to April 23 due to numerous challenges, including poor weather. As a result, every team member helps out and supports one another, allowing us to operate more efficiently and overcome challenges.
