Astronomy Camp is a one-of-a-kind experience for middle and high school students. Held annually on Arizona's Mount Lemmon, the camp provides an authentic research experience in which students propose for, collect, and analyze real-time astronomical data from University of Arizona-operated telescopes. Since 2018, I have worked as a Camp Counselor at Astronomy Camp. My responsibilities include 1) working with camp participants to formulate feasible research projects; 2) operating Mount Lemmon telescopes, such as the Kuiper 61" Telescope; 3) giving interactive lectures on modern astronomy topics, such as exoplanet demographics; and 4) making sure that campers and staff are having fun.Â
