I grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I worked with Prof. Stella Offner on studies of turbulence and star formation. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Arizona, where I worked with Prof. Josh Eisner on radio-interferometric observations of protoplanetary disks.
Outside of astronomy, I enjoy watching football and spending time outside. My favorite hobby is birdwatching, with my favorite bird being the elegant trogon. In grad school, I was an avid rock climber, during which I contributed to the development of Void of Form, the longest sport climbing route in Arizona.
