Hello! I'm Ryan Boyden, a Virginia Initiative on Cosmic Origins (VICO) Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
My research interests include planet formation, star formation, and astrochemistry. I am the PI of the Cycle 3 JWST program GO 6130, entitled "The Most Typical Planet Formation in the Most Typical Environments." I am a co-PI of the Cycle 4 JWST program GO 7534, entitled "A MIRI Spectroscopic Atlas of Irradiated Disks in Orion."
In 2023, I received my Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Arizona. In 2017, I received my B.S. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
