It helps those with vision loss to connect with the world. The app narrates their surroundings so that they know what Is In front of them. When friends are In front of them It describes what they are wearing along with their facial expressions. When they are walking on the streets It describes the shops and people that they are passing by. When they are at the cash register It narrates how much money they have taken out.
This tool gives the user the opportunity to access Information In a manner that works best for them based on their needs. Without this tool, there are possibilities that the user would not be able to experience the world around them. They would not be able to read a menu at a restaurant or recognize who Is In front of them and what their facial expressions are. This tool removes those barriers due to Its support with UDL principles and providing appropriate tools for accessibility.
Seeing AI Is a beneficial app for people with vision loss. It can read anything, anywhere. If there Is a document or book In front of them, If they scan their phone over It the app will narrate It for them. It can read menus for them at restaurants and It has a short text feature to provide a concise breakdown of their surroundings.
If they point their phone out of the car It will narrate what they are passing by. When they scan It over packages, they are able to Identify who It Is for and whether or not It was meant for them. If they have currency In front of them and they scan their phone over It, the app will narrate how much It Is.
The app will read Images from social media and photos In texts. The app will also narrate handwritten notes.

With a point and click gesture, the finger worn tool can synthesize text to speech In an Instant and Identify various objects.
This tool optimizes the learners access to tools and assistive technologies by allowing the visually Impaired to meet the goals set for them in the classroom. The tool removes barriers by allowing for the visually Impaired to be more Included In the general education setting. The tool Itself, also, does not pose any barriers.
This tool Is mobile and Intuitive In function. The tool can Identify colors, shapes, logos and more. It can recognize different objects Including drinks, and when a user reads It while they read small vibrations can be felt when they go off of the lines. Some models have been on the lighter end, averaging around 1.8 ounces. The FingerReader can support users who are dyslexic with reading, too.
Not 100% accurate
Fairly new, so there has not been a large enough sample size yet to prove Its effectiveness
It cannot Interpret the surroundings of the Individual like Seeing AI can
