We invite early-career researchers, biomechanical engineers, biomechatronic, clinicians and healthcare professionals, roboticists, and members from different scientific communities to submit contributions. We will especially encourage women and young researchers' participation, in order to support gender balance and the promotion of early-career researchers to present themselves to the community.
The papers will be peer-reviewed (single-blind) for the relevance of content to the workshop and basic quality. The selected extended abstracts and videos will be disseminated and available in this website. Accepted manuscripts will be invited to present a teaser of their work to all participants of the workshop (single-track presentation). The spotlight teasers will be accompanied by posters during the interactive session at the coffee-break.
The award for the best-extended abstract will reflect both the quality of the document, as well as the quality of the presentation and the poster interaction. Delsys proudly sponsors 500 € prize award for the winner!!!
An independent committee will be selected to judge the contributions and select the winner.
Eligibility: We strongly encourage all submissions to include EMG in their study.
Prensilia are proudly offering a €300 award for the best video that effectively represents the fundamental aspects of a research paper. The video should be concise, lasting no more than 3 minutes, and should provide a clear demonstration of the system or experiment described in the paper. It is essential that faces of participants in the video are blurred to ensure privacy and comply with ethical guidelines, including obtaining proper ethics approval and written informed consent, as stipulated by the Declaration of Helsinki.
To ensure impartial judgment, an independent committee will be carefully chosen to evaluate the video contributions and determine the deserving winner.
