Overview

ASSESS EBT is designed with privacy as a core principle. The application does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information entered into the app is stored exclusively on your device.

Data Collection

ASSESS EBT does not collect any personal data. The app does not use analytics services, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or any third-party SDKs that collect user information.

Data Storage

All data you enter into the EBT Journal — including event records, competency assessments, TEM self-assessments, and self-debrief notes — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it using the PDF export function.

PDF Export

The app provides a PDF export feature that generates a report from your event records. This report is shared using iOS's standard share sheet. You control entirely where this document is sent. The app has no knowledge of or access to where you choose to share it.

Subscriptions

ASSESS EBT offers an optional annual subscription managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app does not process payments directly and does not have access to any payment information. Subscription management, billing, and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID account settings.

Feedback

The app contains an optional feedback button that opens a pre-addressed email in your mail client. No data is sent automatically — this action only opens your mail app with a suggested recipient. Any information you choose to include in a feedback email is sent directly from your personal mail client and is not processed by the app.

Children

This application is intended for use by commercial aviation professionals. It is not directed at children under the age of 13.
