Prof. A. Srinivasan is a distinguished academic and researcher known for his contributions in the field of Inorganic and Bioinorganic Chemistry. He is currently a Professor at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India and served as the Officiating Director in 2023. 

He has a substantial publication record spanning from 1997 to 2023, with numerous number of publications. His work covers a diverse range of topics in the field of chemistry. His expertise lies in the field of Inorganic and Bioinorganic Chemistry. His research has focused on various areas, including Photosensitizers for Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) Applications, Metallocene-Based Macrocycles, Cryptands, and their Receptor Properties. 

He has made significant contributions to the field, as evidenced by his impressive publication record and citation metrics. Some of his notable works include research on rhodium and organo-rhodium complexes of meso-triarylbiphenylcorrole, the synthesis and structural studies of 3-D cryptand-like calixbenzophyrins, and the design and synthesis of porphyrinoids.

Prof. Srinivasan has collaborated with numerous researchers in his field, co-authoring papers with over 246 individuals, which highlights his active engagement within the scientific community. He is a respected figure in the field of Porphyrin Chemistry, known for his extensive research contributions and notable publications. His work has covered a range of topics, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
