SunFacade Privacy Policy

SunFacade provides facade orientation measurement and theoretical sun exposure analysis without requiring a user account.
Location and project data
The app uses precise device location to calculate the position of the sun and correct orientation measurements to true north. Location permission is required for analysis; manual coordinate entry is not available. Project name, building type, coordinates, selected facades, and measurements are stored locally on the device. PDF and DOCX files are created only when requested by a Pro user and are shared through the operating system’s share sheet.
Aspecta Studio does not transfer project, precise location, or measurement data to its own servers or send them to the advertising SDK for targeting.
Advertising and Google AdMob
In the Free version, the user explicitly chooses “Watch an ad to start measurement” before each new measurement session. Measurement starts only after the rewarded ad is completed. The Pro version does not request or display ads.
Ads are provided through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. For advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, this service may automatically collect and share an IP address (which can be used to estimate general location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers. Data is encrypted in transit.
Personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads may be shown depending on the user’s region, device settings, and consent choices. Where required, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) presents privacy choices. Users can review those choices again through “Ad privacy options” in the app when that entry point is required.

Purchases
SunFacade Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase, not a subscription. It removes ads and permanently unlocks unlimited on-device measurements plus unlimited PDF and editable DOCX reports. Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store processes payment and purchase records under its own policies. SunFacade does not see or store card or bank details; it stores only whether Pro access is active on the device. Restore Purchases checks the store account for an eligible purchase.
Retention and deletion
Local projects remain on the device until the user deletes them or removes the app’s data. Generated reports can be deleted by the user or the operating system. Data retained by Google AdMob and store providers is subject to their own retention policies.
Children’s privacy
SunFacade is not specifically directed to children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when app features, advertising technology, or legal requirements change. The current version will always be published on this page.
