Growing up, I was always drawn to horses and animals in general. My love of horses grew when I went to a horseback riding summer camp. From that moment on, my future was set. I officially began riding lessons when I was 12 years old. The barn I rode at specialized in eventing and I was instantly fascinated by it. I began spending almost every day at the barn after school and would accompany my trainer to shows or with teaching on the weekends. I became a working student to spend as much time as possible learning from the trainers and owner. Unfortunately when I was in high school, the owner sold the facility, so I switched barns and was thrust into the world of hunt seat riding. I started an internship at the new facility and was able to further expand my knowledge on rated shows, importing/exporting horses, and facility care. At 17, I was able to ride on the IEA show team, gaining much understanding into the way shows are run and teams are managed. I attended William Woods University in Missouri, studying Equine Studies with a focus on training and management. There I was able to ride on both the hunt seat team and the dressage team. Upon coming home from college, I began working at a few different barns, some training horses and some teaching lessons. All the while I kept taking regular lessons to improve my own riding. In 2023, I acquired a few of my own horses and decided to found my own program, following that childhood dream.
