Ride-Sharing (Uber/Lyft): Both Uber and Lyft are popular and accessible choices for getting from the airport to central Columbus. The ride typically takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs range from $15-$25. Designated ride-share pickup zones are clearly marked at the airport.
Taxi Services: Taxis are readily available outside the baggage claim area. Trips to central Columbus are usually about $25 and can also take 10-15 minutes.
Bus Service: The main public bus line that serves John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is COTA's Route 7. This bus route connects downtown Columbus with the airport. The bus operates with stops starting as early as 4:58 AM and running until 11:01 PM, and the fare is approximately $2.00. To plan your ride, you can consult this link.
All events will be held on The Ohio State University's main campus. Thursday and Friday's events will take place in the Ohio Union and Barnett Center, and Saturday will be at Hagerty Hall.
Campus Area Bus Service (CABS): Please consult the map and timetable available on the CABS webpage to see if your accommodations are within proximity of a CABS line. No ID or bus pass is needed to ride on regularly scheduled buses. Simply hop on the bus at any of the stops located on campus and throughout surrounding neighborhoods.
Note: On home football Saturdays (the Saturday of our conference), CABS suspends service six hours prior to kickoff. We will have a confirmed kickoff time closer to November.
COTA Bus service: More information about routes and ride options available here.
Own transportation: There is ample paid street parking available in the area immediately east of the Ohio Union on and within the vicinity of 15th street. Payment can be set up through this app.
Note: We do not recommend driving your own vehicle to campus or the surrounding area on Saturday, since it is a home football game and there are significant restrictions for parking (for example, no parking or driving is allowed on campus on that day).
Walking and Biking: Both the Springhill Suites OSU and Graduate Hotel are located 1.5 miles from the OSU Union. The Hampton Inn downtown is located 1.9 miles from the Union. City bikes are available for rent through the Lyft app, with more information about this service at the CoGo website.
Ride-Sharing (Uber/Lyft): Both Uber and Lyft are popular and accessible choices for getting to and from the OSU campus.
If you would like to park on campus on Thursday or Friday, the closest garage for visitors is Ohio Union South. Hourly and daily rates, as well as spot availability, are available on the CampusParc website.
