Erasmus+ Egalitarian Project 🔗 https://egalitarian.eu/
Jan 2024 - Ongoing
I am contributing to the Erasmus+ Egalitarian Project this semester as part of my thesis, having previously worked on the project during its two earlier phases. Over these three phases, the project has focused on developing strategies for incorporating technology in a way that ensures inclusivity for socially marginalised stakeholders while addressing sustainability and participatory design.
Apart from this, I am co-supervising the Data Management System theme's other project teams (AAU_Software Engineering, UMinho_Management Engineering, Saxion_Human Resource), and also working for the development of a new theme.
This project primarily focuses on the Waste Management System in Brasília. Four universities from four different countries—Aalborg University (Denmark), Saxion University (the Netherlands), University of Minho (Portugal), and University of Brasília (Brazil)—are collaborating on this initiative. Students, professors, and facilitators conduct research across various themes, including Data Management Systems, Carbon Footprint, the Educational App EduCado, and IoT Platforms.
Participants come from diverse disciplines such as Techno-Anthropology, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electronic Systems, and Operations Management & Engineering, contributing their expertise to different aspects of the project.
