Student Section Advisor

Dr. Shan M Assis has been an ASME member since 2020 and currently serves as the Student Section Advisor for the ASME MCET Student Section. He has been volunteering with the ASME India Professional Section since 2021 and has held the position of Treasurer since 2022.
He is the Vice Principal and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at MCET. He is recognized as a Chartered Engineer by the Engineering Council - UK. He is highly dedicated to the student community at MCET, actively encouraging and organizing various exposure enhancement events to foster growth and learning.
