 Welcome to ASIP 2024 Conference

Welcome to the Asian Society for Innovation and Policy Conference (ASIP 2024) which is hosted by National University of Kaohsiung (NUK). The conference will be held from the 8th to the 10th of September 2024 at the NUK campus, with the conference occupying the dates 9th to 10th of September. 


The ASIP annual conference is in its 14th year, having run in locations across ASIA and has the support of an international network of academics and practitioners. The purpose of the conference is to enhance academic networking and provide a platform for the publication of academic research. The theme chosen for the conference is “Twin Transformation - Digital and Green” and it is intended to reflect, in part, the strategic vision of both ASIP and National University of Kaohsiung, allowing for not only conference discourse but also impactful output across ASIA.


Participants are required to submit abstracts and papers through our conference website.  Presentation of papers ｗill be physically . The conference schedule will be communicated to all registered participants.

Objectives of Conference

The conference will be a joint effort between the Asian Society of Innovation and Policy (ASIP) and the National University of Kaohsiung. The ASIP annual conference is in its 14th year, having run in locations across ASIA.

The purpose of the conference is to enhance academic networking and provide a platform for the publication of academic research. The theme chosen for the conference is “Twin Transformation - Digital and Green” and it is intended to reflect, in part, the strategic vision of both ASIP and National University of Kaohsiung, allowing for not only conference discourse but also impactful output across Asia.

In addition, this conference is intended to enhance the visibility of entrepreneurship-related research, impacting curriculum development, societal change and reflecting labor market trends. The conference will provide opportunities for academic staff and practitioners at the various participating Universities and organizations to enhance their respective networks and strengthen research ties between stakeholders. The conference will also provide platforms for research output through an associated in-house journal and participating Emerald journals and other journals.

Publication Opportunities

The following peer-reviewed journals are well-aligned with the topical coverage of this conference. Selected papers at the conference will be encouraged to submit to these journals where there is suitable alignment with Aims & Scope. Please note that all submissions will be subject to the standard submissions process, and do not come with any guarantee of publication.

National University of Kaohsiung (NUK)

The National University of Kaohsiung (NUK), the only national university instituted in the millennium in Taiwan, was found on February 1, 2000. In accordance with the government's industrial development policy and to promote the establishment of the Asia-Pacific Regional Operation Center (including Southern Taiwan Science Park, Kaohsiung Multifunctional Commerce and Trade Park and International Warehousing and Processing Transit Center), we assist to upgrade and transform traditional industries and train professionals in technology and management.
