Short Biography:

I am an experienced Computer Science Engineer and Academic with a strong background in both higher education and diverse industries, including software development, data analysis, manufacturing, tourism, and healthcare. My research interests include Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics, Computer Science, Database Systems, Data Mining, CRM and Hospitality.

With almost 30 years of academic and industry experience, I have held many professional engagements and teaching activities throughout the world, such as in Albania (EU, UMT, UNIEL, UAMD), Germany (Hamburg University, Leuphana University, DHL, Deutsche Post, Analytic Company), Nigeria (AUN), North Cyprus (Near East University), North Macedonia (SEEU), Kosovo (UBT, CIT), Turkey (Gural Group, Akdeniz University, Bahcesehir University), United Arab Emirates (HCT), etc.

As an Academic, I established and chaired the Departments of Computer Engineering and Management Information Systems at various universities. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of courses, including Database Systems, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Management Information Systems, XML, Algorithms, Programming, Statistics, and Business Strategies.

I have served in academic leadership and teaching roles, including Dean, Chair, and Lecturer, at various universities, and have taught courses in more than seven countries. With nearly 70 academic papers published in journals and conference proceedings, I have also chaired international conferences and been invited as a Keynote Speaker at more than ten events.

As a Computer Science Engineer, I have held various professional roles, including System Analyst, Database Administrator and Application Developer. I contributed to projects such as the implementation of CRM and ERP systems in manufacturing companies, hotel resorts, and a public hospital. Additionally, I served as a consultant for several software companies within a Technopark.

In addition to my native language Turkish, I am proficient in English, have an intermediate command of German, and a basic knowledge of Arabic. Since July 2024, I have been working at Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
