- The first table contains the years that were either recent or had the lowest minimums since 2005 (actual, daily updated map in the bottom right). The second table contains the rest.
- Tip: right-click images and open them in new tabs for more detailed comparison by switching between tabs (count the amount of clicks your scroll wheel makes)
- Caveat from the UB: "The ASI sea ice concentration algorithm used here has been validated in several studies (Spreen et al. 2005, Spreen et al., 2008).
- However, no warranty is given for the data presented on these pages. As we are using SSMIS data instead of AMSR-E data, the quality of the resulting maps has yet to be assessed."
