I joined the dance team at my high school my junior year. This was my first time participating in dance, so the sport was new to me. I quickly mastered the skills that were given to me and often am an example athlete when drilling certain skills. My senior year i was promoted to Stretching/ Conditioning Leader. My role on the team is to run our stretches at the beginning of practice and when our coach gives us conditioning during practice.

I joined Fellowship of Christian Athletes my senior year. Because I am largely involved with my church and school activities, I was given a leadership role over a small group of girls in the club. My role is to help these girls grow confident in their walk with Christ and guide them in discipleship. The group meets every Friday morning before school and on Saturday afternoons. This is when we dive deeper into the bible and what God has in store for us as followers of Christ.
