Although there are many challenges and problems (Fig. shows onsite schooling in poverty areas), as an entity that belongs to the private sector and works internationally for development, Albassir’s proposal is seriously focused on human resource development, and in particular, based on the African proverb which says “it takes a village to raise a Child”. Thus, the training proposal with its expected outcomes will certainly not only fulfill the need of the interested communities in Sudan, but it will also contribute significantly to bridging the gap of the public institutions to turn the young generations into a productive workforce at the right time. 

Following the quote by Confucius, the famous Chinese educator, a poet said: "If you want to repair the damage, start with education". Considering our experience with a unique equation such as; Creativity + Donation = Forsaa (Opportunity), and a statement such as; Great PEOPLE can Create Forsaa, our unique theme of “Renew a school, create an opportunity, build a homeland” come true if and only if we start with filling the gap of the needs by TRAINING, SKILLS DEVELOPMENT  PROJECTS such as below.

An Extensive Scientific Training Program for young generation Students includes; (1) Safety Precautions during Epidemics, Flooding, and Firefighting, (2) Promoting teamwork and environmental protection through Waste recycling products and Games, (3) Exploring the mysteries of Science/Geology/ Physics.

1.1 Objectives:

(1) Safety First: To acquire basics in fire prevention skills during epidemics, flooding, and firefighting before and during outbreaks.

(2) Be productive: Promote teamwork and gain skills in creative design and production of useful and artistic products from waste materials, and be acquainted with basic knowledge and practice of environmental protection through entertainment.

(3) Be innovative: To develop the ability of learning and innovation by consolidating and deepening the concepts of practical lessons and linking them with theory, and then conducting descriptive processes and the fundamentals of scientific analysis.

(4) Think Bigger: To enable students to understand the importance of science, geology, and physics in LIFE. Thus, get some broad ideas of a few logical processes in the sciences and physics. Example: the diversity of the use of human senses to explore the multiple varieties of ways to identify the most common rocks.

(5) Stick to Nature: To stimulate the interest of students to study colored rocks and explore their secrets as means of practical experiences that lead them to a better understanding of the world.

1.2 The time:

3 days, 8 hours each.

The morning of the first day: 8: 00-12: 00: Physics and geology laboratories orientation (Theoretical).

On the first day afternoon: 2: 00-5: 30, practice how to use a compass, and magnifying glass, the visit lab at SUST and/or the University of Khartoum.

The morning of the second day: 8: 00-12: 00: Lecture on safety precautions during epidemics, flooding, and before and during fire accidents.

On the second day afternoon: 2: 00-5: 30, the competition environmental protection groups based on turning the wastes into useful products or artistic 3D works, etc. (prizes for good performance).

The morning of the third day: 8: 00-12: 00: Lecture and practice on building Capacity (teamwork via onsite games).

On the third day afternoon: 2: 00-5: 30, the contest teamwork building via exhibition open to the public (prizes for the winners).

1.3 The content and the schedule:

Morning of the first day

Theoretical foundations: (1) how to classify and identify common metals; (2) forms of identification to configure basic crustal rocks; (3) forms of fossils; (4) folds and faults; (5) methods of oil exploration, (6 ) safety at oil sites.

Afternoon the first day

(1) The practice of how to use a compass and magnifying glass; (2) Visit the Geological Museum; (3) monitor the excavation and rock samples; (4) the types of fossils.

Morning of the second day

Study of rocks at the bottom of the mountains, to determine the type and analyze the reasons for their formation, views of volcanic rocks, described drawing

Afternoon the second day

Visit the University Museum after dividing the students into groups to conduct n scientific entertainment competition to motivate team working (prizes included).

Morning of the third day

Workshop: Watch a film show at the SUST University Cinema on Environmental Protection (continuation of the same groups of students to conduct competitive competitions on environmental protection).

The Afternoon of the third day

The closing ceremony: Announcement of the result of the competitions and the award of certificates and prizes. Two types of certifications: 1 from SUST and the other one issued by Albassir

1.4 The requirements:

1. Students should strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the university.

2. Students should follow the directives of administrators and teachers and attention to safety during field activities.

3. Students are expected to follow carefully the instructions during field activities and be active and energetic.

4. during the practice: slippers, high heels, and short skirts are not allowed to wear and the students are prohibited from playing and clowning.

5. Each student may need to bring a laptop. However, a notebook, a pencil, eraser are MUST.

1.5 The Trainers and administrators:

Teaching Methods: The trainer uses video & PowerPoint to explain details. The coach will explain and answer inquiries during the phase of field activities and practice.

Training Team: 2 supervisors (project manager and assistant), 4 major trainers, and 4 assistants. Groups categories: University preliminary, Higher and Middle school students; alternately. A Number of members per group: between 5-10 students.

Trainer responsibilities (lecturer): explain the scientific content, create a favorable environment within the classroom, attracting the attention of students.

Assistant responsibilities: project promotion, the announcement of the schedule, helping trainers to complete the educational mission, cooperating in the implementation of the curriculum; the success of the practice field, to ensure the safety of students.

Logistic service team: 4 volunteers (supervised by Albassir & school teachers).
