Course: Urban Design Studio III

Project Description:  A project centered around the proposal for Charleston, South Carolina's new Lowline feature. Each student in the course was tasked with proposing their version of the project by creating deliverables such as street analysis, perspective renderings, figure-ground drawings, site analysis, and diagramming. This was accomplished using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. This project was in collaboration with the entire URST 315 class.

Course:  Preservation Documentation Studio

Project Description: An AutoCAD drawing of the Garden House in the backyard of the William Blacklock House on Bull Street in Charleston, SC. This digital drawing was created from measured drawings of the structure, which was measured on-site and then hand-drawn in a studio before being interpreted digitally. 

Course: Urban Design Studio III

Project Description:  A Nolli of Rome, Italy. The project was inspired by the work of Italian surveyor Giambattista Nolli and his 1748 plan of Rome. Each student in the course was assigned a unique urban area to analyze through maps and then create and trace the current footprint with AutoCAD at a 3'8" = 100' scale. 

Course: Urban Design Studio III

Project Description: A street section analysis of the street Vicolo del Cinque in Rome, Italy, created using AutoCAD.  The rendering includes both the elevation and aerial perspective of the study area. The use of vehicles allows for a clearer understanding of the existing perspective and scale.
