We Need You!
For squash to succeed at Cal and in the East Bay, the sport needs stable leadership and a voice. That is why our first step is to fund a permanent 'Director of Squash'.
What would a ‘Director of Squash’ do?
coach the Men’s and Women’s teams at Cal
advocate for squash on Cal campus and in the East Bay community
advocate for squash at other universities on the west coast
advocate for the building of squash programs at high schools in California
advocate and fundraise for the building of a world class squash facility at Cal
organize tournaments, clinics, and give lessons to the local community
represent the interests of west coast squash at the CSA and US Squash
run a varsity squash program through the Cal athletics department
recruit top squash players to the University
provide stability and organizational know-how to the teams year over year
