Menu Designs

When creating these designs in figma, I focused on the main theme of the game which was racing. In the racing related segments, the main shapes I used are parallelograms which are found in a lot of racing games because of their angles that invoke a speed feeling. In addition to the game's aesthetic of being anime-esque with bright, bold colors, I encorporated accents and shadows to blend the game's unique experience of both racing and visual novel segements.

Color Palette

While making the color palette, I worked with the lead arist of the game to create a color palette that fits the art style of the game and to generate colors with enough contrast that creates a more accessible experience for those who are colorblind. Using figma's plugins to simulate colorblindness, I was able to test how each colors compare with each other to ensure they had enough contrast.
