Herbs are a staple for any chef - they create bursts of sudden flavor, or even acts as a garnish to a simple dish that makes it look fancier. Even so, herbs just seem to be easy to kill, whether from over-watering, root rot, lack of re-potting, and fertilizer issues. These problems are the main issues in growing herbs and plants. The solution created for these common problems is the Herbivorous Kitchen Kit. The Herbivorous Kitchen Kit (HKK) allows the average person to grow herbs indoors without the time and energy needed. It is an autonomous growing machine that gives the herbs water and light. Giving the machine a stable water and light system reduces the chances for under/over-watering as well as under/over-heating. It also includes a drainage system that is able to be pulled out and dumped easily, as well as a removable section to refill the soil in the machine. These aspects decrease the chances of root rot and bugs due to certain conditions. The goal of this project was to create a relatively hands-free gardening system that has all the necessary elements that solves the common problems of growing herbs but squeezed into a compact size for efficiency. Growing more plants, even if just basic herbs, will allow the general public to become more interested and interactive with the world, specifically nature and gardening. The fact that it fits comfortably into an average kitchen and is short enough to fit underneath a cabinet allows chefs to easily create a space in which they can grow herbs in the comforts of their cooking area.

End Result 2019
The project was left unfinished but was graded according to the expected result and earned a 95%. The remaining pieces continued to print for the upcoming SkillsUSA competition in 2020.
I definitely hogged the Raise3D printer for 2 months, quite honestly.
Missing pieces: Water base and water top
Mission: Redo poster, redo report, finish mechanics, and print rest of parts.
