Introduction
The development of this professional profile represents my accumulation of learning in my dental hygiene program journey. This portfolio presents the competencies required for a safe, ethical, and effective entry to practice Canadian competencies for Dental Hygienists and ensure I meet the FDHRC. These competencies are organized into seven domains. These domains consist of Professionalism, Evidence Informed Practice, Communication, Collaboration, Practice Management, Prevention, Education and Health Promotion, and clinical development. For each domain I have chosen a skill that I have grasped and paired it with an image to represent the progression. Finally I wrote a reflection for each domain and what the domain means to me. This profile is a record of my achievement and an attribution to my lifelong learning. It is a reflection of the evidence on my education and experience.
