Having worked as an educator for more than twenty years, I find that my skills and experience are best put to use in coaching individuals and helping institutions chart an exciting path forward. Personal and institutional change can be daunting, but also powerful!
Nothing excites me more than working with students, fellow adults, or institutions to elicit a clearer vision of where they are headed and then facilitate them in articulating practical steps to help them move in the desired direction.
These days, I work through the framework I developed with my business partner, Sayan Sinha. We call it PRIMER.
Check out our website or email us at connect@primeredu.com for more informaiton.
With select colleagues, through The Blue Hand, LLC, I currently offer workshops and short courses on the following topics:
PRIMER (a practical framework for authentic collaboration)
Cultivate Belonging (using Geoffrey L. Cohen's book Belonging: The Science of Creating Connection and Bridging Divides as a jump-off point)
Create Meaningful Encounters (using Priya Parker's The Art of Gathering as a jump-off point)
Practice Hope (using Casey Gwinn and Chan Hellmans' Hope Rising: How the Science of Hope Can Change Your Life as a jump-off point)
Leadership for Change (a ten-session, online course that combines models of leadership and systems thinking)
Nonviolent Communication and Reflection (adapted from the work of Marshall Rosenberg)
Purposeful living (Ikigai, Meaning & Viktor Frankl; Goethe & the Patterns of Life; Flow & Mihalyi Csikzentmihalyi)
For ten years, I worked mentoring educators and leading workshops and retreats dedicated to personal and professional growth. For twelve years, I hosted student teaching interns. From 2016-2020, that expanded to working with a range of young professionals who passed through the Centre for Imagination looking for some way to contribute to a wider paradigm shift towards a more just, equitable and sustainable future in which they have a meaningful place and all can thrive. In the years since 2020, I have been working to shape the best way to share knowledge and facilitate growth in others.
I love learning to know people's strengths, gifts, and skills, working with them to find the place where these most powerfully meet the needs of the world.
