Activities
Human anatomy and physiology lectures
Clinical skills (ranging from otoscope and stethoscope use to suturing and ultrasounds)
Group discussions/problem-based learning
Interaction with medical students, physicians and patients
Financial planning and advice
Field games and team building
Participant Requirements
Grade 10, 11 or 12 students in the current school year
Low income background* OR other such perceived barriers (e.g. financial, cultural, language, social) to pursuing a career in medicine
Aptitude for learning and a desire to acquire knowledge
NOTE : You DO NOT need high grades to attend this camp
*no documentation necessary. This component will be assess through the written component of the application.

Students that display:

Ability to work in a team
An interest in healthcare is a plus!
Student potential is important, not grades!
