There is a great journey
At the bright and early time of 8:00 a.m. on March 11th, three vans departed for a long drive to St. Louis.* Each car had a smooth drive into the halfway point of Hannibal, MO, the hometown of Mark Twain and the setting of many of his famous novels. ** Promptly after, the three vans arrived at their housing partner at noon. ***
*Initially meant to leave earlier but underestimated the size of the vans and the little space there was to cram every 17 person's things into the vans.
** It was mostly smooth, but we were unable to see the town mostly because we took an exit and ended up in a Walmart parking lot.
*** When we rolled into the town, it promptly snowed, putting some of us drivers into panic mode and immediately stopped after we arrived at housing, so chance? I think not.
