The purpose of this website is to help educate students, educators, administrations, families, policy makers, as well as the general public on ways in which we can help ensure that our schools are violence free places. School shootings and acts of violence sadly have become a norm within our society. Through research about the tragic school shootings that have happened within our recent history, there are procedures and policies that can be placed within schools to help students and faculty feel a sense of safety. This websites purpose is to share statistics and share resources of what you can do before to help prevent these acts of violence, but also what can be done during and after to help the affected community members.
