Over the past decade, I’ve worked across First Nation organizations, federal politics, and media. Most recently, I led policy and government relations for the Yukon Assembly of First Nations, supporting the Regional Chief and leaders from all 14 Yukon First Nations on a range of files including rights implementation, conservation and land governance, national defence, and Arctic security.
Much of my work has involved leading projects that require building strong working relationships with multiple partners, including First Nation governments, industry and non-for-profit organizations, and federal, provincial, and territorial departments.
I’ve also supported event producers and organizations with conferences and program design – shaping agendas, tightening run-of-show and participant experience, and supporting delivery so events are coherent, engaging, and well-executed. Engagements I've designed and delivered range from national conferences and cultural festivals to community engagement sessions and workshops.
