Art of Breathing (“Application,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we access, use, store, and protect information when you use the Art of Breathing application. The application is developed by Subhojit Kumar Mahato, an independent developer based in Jamshedpur, India.
This policy applies to the Art of Breathing application and the services used to support Google sign-in and Google Drive backup and restore.
The application requests only the minimum information and permissions necessary to function properly.
Art of Breathing uses Google Sign-In to authenticate users. When a user chooses to sign in, the application accesses basic Google account information, such as the user’s name, email address, and profile picture, strictly for account identification and secure login.
If the cloud backup feature is enabled, the application requests access to the user’s Google Drive application data folder (drive.appdata). This access is used only to securely store and restore app settings, custom breathing patterns, and other app data in a hidden, app-specific area of the user’s private Google Drive.
Art of Breathing does not sell, rent, or use your personal data for advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking. We do not display advertisements and we do not offer in-app purchases.
We may process only the information necessary to provide the app’s core features, including Google Sign-In and Google Drive backup and restore. Your backup data is stored in your private Google Drive application data area and is used only for app-related backup and restoration purposes.
We do not share your personal information with advertisers, marketing networks, or data brokers. We may disclose information only if required by applicable law, in response to a valid legal request, or as necessary to protect the security, integrity, or operation of the application.
Art of Breathing’s use of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the app’s visible and user-facing features, including Google Sign-In and Google Drive backup and restore, and only as described in this Privacy Policy.
Art of Breathing does not operate or maintain external servers to store users' personal information or backup data. User authentication is performed using Google's secure OAuth 2.0 authentication services.
If cloud backup is enabled, backup data is stored exclusively in the user's private Google Drive application data folder (drive.appdata), a hidden, app-specific storage area provided by Google. The developer does not independently host, maintain, or retain copies of this backup data outside the user's Google account. .
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are implemented to protect information during authentication and data transfer. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Users remain in control of their account connection and cloud backup data through the following options:
Users may sign out of their Google account at any time from within the application. Signing out removes the locally stored authentication tokens associated with your Google account from the device. Users may also revoke Art of Breathing's access to their Google account at any time through their Google Account Security settings. Once access has been revoked, Google Sign-In and cloud backup and restore features will remain unavailable until the application is authorized again.
If cloud backup is enabled, backup data stored in the user's Google Drive application data folder (drive.appdata) can be permanently deleted directly from within the application.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the application or applicable laws. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised Effective Date.
Art of Breathing is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law and is not designed for or directed toward children. The application does not operate developer-managed servers that store users' personal information.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has used the application, they may:
Delete any cloud backup data using the application's backup management features.
Sign out of the Google account from within the application.
Revoke the application's access through the Google Account Security settings.
