We recognize and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem speaking peoples, and acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land.

Artists in the Boro is a group founded and based in the unique riverside neighbourhood of Queensborough in New Westminster, BC.

We endeavour—through meetings, workshops, the hosting of art-related public events, and other forums—to share, promote and celebrate the talents of people working in any visual art medium.

We encourage creativity and community engagement. New members at all levels of experience and from anywhere in the Lower Mainland are always welcome!
