b. delves into the role teenagers play in advocating for climate justice, specifically on the importance of supporting and uplifting underserved and underrepresented communities affected by environmental challenges.



*Submissions should be accompanied by a brief artist statement (max 200 words) explaining the concept and inspiration behind your work.

Guidelines


Eligibility: 

The “Art for Earth" contest is open to individuals or teams of middle and high school students within Grades 6-12. Each participant/team must have parental or guardian consent.


Theme: 

All video submissions must revolve around the theme of climate change and its impact on the environment. The videos should aim to raise awareness, inspire action, or explore potential solutions related to climate change.


Technical Requirements:

a. Videos must be original and created specifically for this contest.

b. Videos should be in a common digital format (e.g., .mp4, .mov) and not exceed duration (e.g., 2.5 minutes).

c. Videos should be of sufficient quality and resolution to be easily viewed and understood.


Content Guidelines:

a. Videos must be respectful, free of offensive or inappropriate content, and adhere to copyright laws.

b. Any music, images, or other creative elements used in the video must either be original or appropriately credited.

C. If any individuals under the age of 18 are captured in the video, participants must have obtained parental or guardian consent for their appearance in the video. This consent should be kept on record and made available upon request by the contest organizers.


Submission Process:

a. Participants must complete the official entry form available on Google Forms. 

b. Videos must be uploaded to a specified platform and submitted via a provided link.

c. Each participant/team can submit only one entry to the video making contest.
