Visual Resource Bank

Arte 542 - As a way to collect and interpret images, we were asked to create themes and subcategories that fit into those themes. This allowed us, as future educators, to have a wide selection of resources that vary in content, medium, and style but all hold a similar feeling or theme. By exploring image collections such as these, art educators can utilize the diversity of imagery available to students in order to express their ideas and concepts. I chose 4 themes that I found interesting and explored the numerous ways one could express theses themes. These sort of assignments help to spark inspiration and motivation to explore new mediums and help to connect with students.

The idea of recycled or found object art and melding it together with LEDs, gears, and other various pieces of mechanical marvel.
