Words of inspiration by Trever Byron
In art circles it is said:
'To exploit the freshness and light which are the special virtues of watercolor demands a sureness and spontaneity that are not acquired easily, if at all'
I have strived all my life to acquire through constant study and practice the special virtues of the medium
I have painted prodigiously since childhood
This yearn to draw and paint was innate from as early as four years of age
And has continued
Escalating to present times
To capture the moments
Of a landscape
Seascape or marine life
Visually and emotionally is the ultimate goal of my work
Painting nature has always been my joy
Experiencing nature moves me
And the movement is what I always try to capture in my paintings.
Reveling in the beauty of nature's colors
Bathed in sunlight and mirroring the same on my paper and canvas
Creating dramatizations of lights, shadows and reflections in water
Convey and create emotional responses with lasting impressions on my viewers
I am also canvasing for the preservation of nature
And hopefully trying to awaken this joy
This need to preserve and conserve nature in my fellow men
