Art by Trevor Byron is an Internationally acclaimed visual artist located in the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago.

Born in the south land of Princess Town Trinidad and Tobago in August 1950, Trevor Byron has always had a passion for drawing and painting.

At the early age of four years old he began to show interest in the visual arts by reproducing the sceneries of his childhood.

Quickly he began to teach himself the art until he decided to learn further at his Secondary School where he got certification in both ordinary and advanced levels.

He always had aspiration to become a teacher and in 1972 he enrolled in the Mausica Teachers College where he elected for one year in Art Teachers Training.

Soon after he began teaching art at the Fyzabad Anglican Secondary School in Trinidad and Tobago.

In 1991 he became Art Ambassador to his homeland where he was summon by the Martiniquan government through a government to government arrangement to participate in the arts festival named 'Symbiose Regard' in Trinite, Martinique.

Following his Ambassadorship in 1993 he saw the creation of a new form of artwork pioneering the first ever Marine Life Art Exhibition in Trinidad and Tobago documenting the countries marine life through painting.

He is formally the proud owner of The Southern Art Gallery where he presided over its curatorship during the years of 2002 to 2006 before it became Voix_ an Art Gallery up until 2009 at Cocoyea San Fernando Trinidad.

In 2006 he received the San Fernando Arts Council Award and was lauded for outstanding contributions to the promotion of Art and Culture, with invaluable emphasis given to him for his teachings as a Visual Artist by the San Fernando Arts Council Trinidad and Tobago.

He continues to receive awards as in May 2022, he was given the finalist Award by the International Watercolour Masters Exhibition and hailed by Lilleshall Hall England as a Highly Commended visual artist for his talents.
