Pottery

In true fashion, Shaquella has to incorportate bright and fun colors into every category of art she makes. Pottery is no exception! With previous experience in hand building and a new found interest in throwing, she has created many colorful functional vessels and sculptures. Her most recent pieces include handmade mugs, tumblers, bowls, yunomis and much more.  Her goal when making these vessels is to merge the skills she has in painting with watercolors and put them into painting imagery on pottery using various glazes and underglazes. there is beauty and a story behind each one.
