I am an experienced educator teaching art and art history in schools, my past work involved the development of curriculum understanding and materials in Art, supporting my fellow Art teachers and tutoring adults in painting and drawing workshops.

My unrelenting passion is for every learner, be they a student or adult, to have the opportunity to explore the satisfaction, excitement and deep understanding of self that comes from involvement in the Arts.

I am delighted to be involved with Art and You, organising a week focused on you and the joy that creativity and exploration in art making can bring.

After 35 years in education and now established in the commercial world as a building project manager, there is still time to indulge my 3 grandsons, tackle our large garden, travel …..and now it seems, help organise a new adventure - Art and You!

Engaging in the Arts is vital to our well-being, so the opportunity to share in organising Art and You so others can experience what I have been privileged to enjoy, is just too good to resist!

I am confident we are encompassing a range of options that will be memorable for our participants through the medium of art and self.
