All resources and facilities of the AVHS Library will be used solely for legitimate and authorized academic, instructional, research, and public service purposes.

Every student must abide by the code of conduct described in the student handbook in order to use the library facilities, and must have a signed copy of the District’s Student Technology Responsible Use Agreement on file in order to use library technology.

If any student is found to be misusing the library space, their library privileges may be revoked.

If books are not returned on time, a 10 cent fee will be applied daily until the book is returned. If the book is damaged or lost, the student must pay for the replacement cost of the book.

Students may check-out and return any textbooks at any time throughout the year. All textbooks should be returned at the end of the year in order to avoid an overdue status. If the book is damaged or lost, the student is responsible for the replacement costs.
