Every project has a starting point.

Mine didn't begin in a software company or a technology lab. It began through years of working in landscaping, property maintenance, operations, and workforce management. Day after day, I worked alongside crews, supervisors, managers, and property owners, learning firsthand what worked, what didn't, and where opportunities were being missed. Over time, I noticed a common problem. Hard-working employees were often judged by incomplete information. Valuable knowledge disappeared when experienced workers left. Managers spent countless hours trying to document work, track progress, and train new employees while still keeping operations moving.

While effort was never the issue, visibility certainly was.

I began creating simple systems to organize information, document processes, and make communication easier. What started as spreadsheets, notes, and workflow improvements slowly evolved into something larger. Each solution solved a small problem, but together they revealed a bigger opportunity.

That opportunity became 545 Innovations LLC.

The name 545 comes from a place that represents resilience and hope in my own story—a childhood post office box in Raeford, North Carolina. A powerful reminder that while our roots matter, they don't define where we are going.

As technology continued to evolve, I saw the potential to combine practical field experience with modern tools. Not to replace workers, but to support them. Not to create more complexity, but to create clarity.

That philosophy became the foundation for projects such as RAY & ART, ARRISE Assistant, ARRISE Cannabis, workforce training systems, field operations tools, and future innovations still under development.

The best chapters of our journey are yet to be written.

Every project, every lesson learned, every challenge overcome, and every conversation with workers, business owners, and communities continues to shape what comes next.

The goal has never been to build technology for technology's sake. The goal is to build practical solutions that help people work smarter, learn faster, document better, and create opportunities for future generations.

Our destination is still on the horizon. This is only chapter one.
